Precision x1 fan speed not showing

I have tried fan curves on MSI Afterburner and EVGA Precision X1 and it will consistently happen. I deleted the settings, files for each reinstalled. Downloaded the drivers, downgraded them ... I play Monster Hunter World on 1440p highest setting. 2080FE temp tops at around 83-84c with default fan profile running at 62% speed. If I increased my GPU fan to 80% the GPU temp will be maxed at 73-74c.
WebFeb 28, 2024 · Only one fan spins up during idle and under a load. Fan 2 and 3 never spin within Linux. My temps get a lot hotter and sit at around 50 to 60 degrees Celsius during idle. I have set “fan 0” to max speed and still only the one fan on the card spins. No matter what I’ve tried I can’t get the other two fans to spin at all.

For #4, there's a thing elsewhere in the UI where you can set the fan curve. That said, to answer your question, the alternative is Afterburner, but at least for Nvidia cards, I think Precision is better. like this. I've been keeping the fan speeds for fans 1/2/3 locked to one another - so when 1 is set to something (e.g. 25%), fans 2 and 3 will also be set to 25%. sushi da brava
