WebAug 19, 2008 · If you do take the blade off, make sure you put some anti-gallant (moly disulphide or similar) on the bolt's shank & threads. They curve down from the center and back up at the end, the finished mowing height was about 3/8” lower than where the old blades cut. Adjusted the wheels and am happy with the purchase. Put on a face shield and grind the blades but still leave a flat leading edge. Just spin it so the blade you're working on is as far to the front as possible and it won't be too much of a reach.
