Fish are sensitive to certain tastes in their food, a trait that can be advantageous and detrimental in feed production. Webshown that the nutritive value of fish flours may vary widely, depending upon the species of fish used and the processing procedure em-ployed, it is possible to obtain samples high in protein. In this study, a diet based on fish protein concentrate as the main source of protein was used in the treatment of children suffering from kwashiorkor.
