WebI'd like to put a Kallax 2x2 on top of a Kallax 2x4 (to basically turn it into a tall 2x6). Does anyone know if it's possible to use one of the thick horizontals (for the top of the 2x4 and the bottom of the 2x2). Maybe using a long glued dowel or something. Think it might look neater than just placing one on top of the other. WebHello, I'm interested in reducing the size of a 5x5 Kallax to two 2x5 "towers". If anyone has advice I would be greatly appreciative. I bought the unit pre-owned and pre-built, but had to partially dismantle it to get in into my place. The purpose is to make it easier to move when I move out and to make the shelves more sturdy than just using pegs.
